Tedy's Team was established in 2005 to benefit the American Stroke Association by raising awareness and much needed funds for stroke research. Tedy's Team is a premier fundraising campaign for the American Stroke Association (ASA), a division of the American Heart Association.
Tedy Bruschi, who suffered a stroke in February 2005, just after winning his third Super Bowl ring and returning from the Pro Bowl in Hawaii, has agreed to join forces with the ASA. Already looking for a cause to become involved with and "give back" prior to his stroke, Tedy is excited to join us in raising awareness, and much-needed funds, to battle the number one cause of disability and the number three cause of death in the United States.
Since it's inception in 2005, Tedy's Team has raised over $800,000 for stroke research, education, and awareness.
